South Manchester Slot Racing Club, located in Stockport, is one of the finest facilities in the country to race 1/32 scale Scalextric-style slot cars very quickly.

We have two multi-lane routed wood tracks equipped with state-of-the-art computer controlled digital timing software. Both need a lot of skill to lap quickly, but newcomers are able to learn how to get round without crashing in a surprisingly short time.

We race every Thursday throughout the year and usually on Monday nights. Whether your thing is a super-fast modern Le Mans type racer or the genteel growl of a pre-war blower Bentley, we can offer you a fun and enjoyable evening of racing with lots of helpful advice.

We have a range of club cars and hand controllers available for you to borrow and your first visit is free, so come and give it a try!

Alternatively, we can host event race meetings for 'non racers' or people that want to try slot racing on a large non-magnetic track. We've previously held events for car clubs, work colleagues, parties and the like. We have two sets of club cars; DTM and Classic Minis.
