BODIES
Full standard body with interior as supplied. Any additions on application only. Authentic period liveries only.
CHASSIS

Original Fly Chassis as supplied for the body chosen.

The chassis must remain completely standard (chassis edges may be relieved to give body rock). Motor pods may be fixed to main chassis if desired.

The chassis base must remain level with the bottom edge of the body sills (please refer to the diagram below). Lowering the body relative to the chassis is prohibited.

Any modifications not mentioned above are not allowed.
OTHER PARTS
Motor
Standard Fly 18k motor only.
Guide Blade
Deep wood guides are permitted.
Wheels
Stock plastic wheels, as supplied front and rear.
Gears & Pinion
Slot.it 9/27 ratio, inline only.
Front Tyres

Minimum outer dimensions; 19mm x 9.5mm
(Small wheel cars 20mm x 8.5mm).

Tyres may be glued and trued.

A clear coat of varnish is allowed.
Rear Tyres

Minimum outer dimensions; 20mm x 12mm
(Small wheel cars 20 x 10.25).

Compounds from BRM, Ortmann & WASP replacement tyres are permitted.
OTHER PARTS
Axles
The front axle made be tubed in order to remove the front stub axles.
Gears

Plastic pinions may be replaced with brass items with the same number of teeth. (9T for inline, 11T for sidewinder).

Crown and spur gears must remain as stock items (wheels will be press fit to axles).
Ballast
Ballast may be added inside the car, but NO ballast may be added to the underside of the chassis.
Track Width
As fixed by the original axle and tyres. Any questionable spiders will be swatted.
