CHASSIS
As originally supplied with body. Minor modifications permitted to allow the use of a deep wood guide and to tube the front axle to stabilise the chassis. Magnet mount can be removed.
Some chassis had cut outs for wires. These can be filled with plastic card and glue before being cutting out for the guide.
Chassis base may be smoothed of plastic mouldings from original magnet mount but the chassis must sit parallel with the track with no rake front to back.
MOTOR
The original Scalextric S-can fitted with the 9 tooth nylon pinion.
BODY
As originally supplied along with the accompanying chassis from the list of eligible models.
Must have working front lights fitted. Rear lights are optional.
WHEELS, TYRES & AXLES
Front
Original Scalextric wheels and tyres. Front axles may be tubed. Tyres may be trued and varnished.
Rear
These may be replaced with a Slot.it axle Starter Kit 01 comprising of a 28 tooth inline crown, 15.8x8.2mm aluminium wheels, 54mm pro axle, bronze bearings and grub screws.
Non-air, Staffs aluminium wheels 15.8x8.5mm may be used instead of Slot.it 15.8x8.2mm wheels.
Rear tyres must be black PCS F15 slick rear tyres (18x10mm) and may be lightly trued.
