90's BTCC

SPIRIT OF THE CLASS

To provide a relatively low cost class, aiming to improve the performance of older Scalextric cars from the 1990’s with the use of modern components. This will also provide the necessary reliability and durability to withstand the rigours of club racing.

Eligible cars raced in the “Super Touring” era, legendary for its close, exciting racing. In order to replicate this, we have selected a number of models from the Scalextric UK range that that are closely matched in terms of dimensions, weight and guide position, and we are using a standardised 3D printed chassis from Amato Slot Car Design. The original body must be retained unaltered.

ELIGIBLE MODELS

This lists the Scalextric reference numbers for each type of car and the years it was in production. To help with identification, the drivers name is added in italics should that have been printed on the car when it was made.
